Beyond the BAC: The Science, Strategy, and Skills Needed to Defend a DUI

CPDA's 16th Annual DUI Defense Practice Institute

Friday & Saturday, June 13-14, 2025

University of San Francisco
McLaren Conference Center
2130 Fulton Street
San Francisco, CA 94117

Driving Under the Influence (DUI) charges are among the most common — and complex — cases faced by California criminal defense attorneys. With constantly evolving laws, sophisticated chemical testing methods, and high-stakes administrative, licensing, and even immigration consequences for clients, there is no such thing as a "simple" DUI case.

This seminar goes beyond the basics. Whether you’re a seasoned public defender or a private practitioner looking to sharpen your toolbox, this full-day, intensive session will provide the latest tactical, scientific, and legal updates necessary to mount a strong DUI defense. The speakers are all recognized experts in this field and have an incredible wealth of experience to share with attendees.

This year, we will also be offering a special Friday Morning Session including a case file review. Friday morning's session is limited to 30 attendees. Even if you do not claim a space in the Friday morning session, the rest of the seminar is not to be missed.
