Join CPDA

Membership in CPDA is open to all criminal defense attorneys, whether working in a public defender office, on an indigent defense panel, in a firm, in a private practice, as a trial attorney, or as a post-conviction attorney.

Membership is also open to allied defense professionals --those who work in defense teams as social workers, defense investigators, paralegals, legal assistants, as mitigations specialists, or experts.

Membership in CPDA allows you to attend CPDA trainings at reduced costs; to access our job board; to access materials on the CPDA website for members only; to be listed in the CPDA directory and to view the CPDA member directory. Membership also allows you to meet other criminal defense professionals from all over the state, to share resources, to participate in committees and in our advocacy work, where we collectively work together to advocate to improve criminal legal defense and the lives of our clients.

Attorneys who want more tools for their practice can sign up for premium membership. With this membership, attorneys gain full access to our searchable database of motions, writs, and practice materials and can participate in closed list serves and member forums.
